For my final semester attending Rehoboth Christian School, I signed up for a Horticulture class. In this class, I was introduced to different methods of gardening that I had no knowledge of. I was given a plot of land in the Rehoboth High Tunnel to plant and harvest spinach, however, I somehow planted lettuce. This was an exciting class at first, but as I continued attending, I discovered my impatient attitude. As time passed, I did see much germination in my plant and encountered animal thief difficulties. Then spring came and I was surprised with the amount of germination that occurred so fast. This class also challenged me to serve others with my knowledge and skill. I donated my entire harvest to the Rehoboth Dining Hall and planned a cold frame structure for my grandparents benefit. Through this class, I achieved the Science outcome that Rehoboth encourages its students to accomplish.
